Machine-written summary
Summary written by Claude Haiku from the source advisory. Not reviewed by a person.
Versions of nbconvert before 7.17.0 on Windows are affected. When a notebook with SVG output is converted to PDF from a directory containing a malicious inkscape.bat file, nbconvert runs that file because it searches the current directory for inkscape. An attacker who can place such a file in the directory where a user runs the conversion can execute arbitrary code. Upgrade to nbconvert 7.17.0 or later.
