Machine-written summary
Summary written by Claude Haiku from the source advisory. Not reviewed by a person.
Coraza (github.com/corazawaf/coraza/v3) versions from 3.0.0 before 3.8.0 are affected. The multipart body processor defers closing a temporary file inside a loop, so each file part in a request keeps a file descriptor open until processing ends, and a request with enough parts can exhaust the process's file descriptors. An unauthenticated attacker who can send multipart uploads to an endpoint can trigger this, causing denial of service and, with CRS loaded, blocking of legitimate requests. Upgrade to version 3.8.0 or later. The source gives no other workaround.
