Machine-written summary
Summary written by Claude Haiku from the source advisory. Not reviewed by a person.
Vikunja (code.vikunja.io/api, versions before 2.6.0) returns the raw TOTP shared secret and provisioning URL to any caller holding a valid access token, even after TOTP is enabled, and without asking for the password. An attacker who obtains a victim's access token, for example through XSS or a stolen or unlocked session, can copy the secret into an authenticator app and generate valid second-factor codes. Upgrade to version 2.6.0 or later, which fixes the issue.
